As I mentioned in class on Monday, there will be no structured class this week. However, I strongly advise you to take advantage of the opportunity to come and see me for an individual consultation during the normal class time.

Places to look for inspiration/information/articles on biological technologies: I usually look through the Health, Science and Environment sections of online newspapers such as The New York Times and The Guardian. Wired.com has a Science and a Medical Technology section. The Wikipedia ‘Biotechnology’ category has nearly 200 entries and Science Daily (under ‘Links’) is also a great resource.

1) Go to edublogs.org.
2) If you do not already have a username and password click on the ‘Sign up for free’ link at the top right of the page. Follow the steps to create a ‘user name only’ account then e-mail me (boo[dot]chapple[at]rmit…) your username and the e-mail address that you used to sign up with so I can add you as a user. Once I have done this you will be able to login and post to the blog.
3) If you already have a username and password use the login at the top left of the edublogs home page. This will take you to the back end of the blog. If you click on the ‘Write’ tab this will open a blank post for you to edit and upload.
